Nature and travels equally inspire me and my creative process. My last trip to Iceland left me in awe as I wandered through landscapes that were so unfamiliar and rugged. The land was rugged, the weather fierce at times, and the atmosphere was breathtaking. This oil painting named “Iceland” is the first piece that came to life once returning from that trip. It’s one that expresses how moody and beautiful nature and the land can be, often blurring the horizon line which divides land and sky.
